About this role
We’re hiring an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to support our client, an established dental practice, in a fully remote capacity. If you have a strong background in medical insurance billing, especially for dental procedures, we’d love to hear from you.
Work Schedule: Remote, EST Hours
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medical insurance coverage for dental implants, CT/CBCT scans, and mandibular advancement devices
Contact insurance companies to confirm benefits, coverage, and authorization requirements
Assist with medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance claims
Work closely with the dental billing team and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records
Job requirements
Experience with US medical insurance billing and insurance verification
Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and claims processing
Experience with dental-to-medical billing (Strongly Preferred)
Familiarity with Dentrix (Preferred)
Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
Detail-oriented, reliable, and available to work EST hours
