How the content is made

• Practice content is AI-generated: cases, lessons and glossary entries are drafted with AI and then put through automated checks.
• Every case is built on open-source synthetic patient data (Synthea, in FHIR R4 format). The people in the cases are generated, not real, and no protected health information enters RemoteNurse.
• Regulatory and clinical facts are tied to a tiered source registry: law and regulation (the eCFR), federal agencies (CMS, HHS OIG, AHRQ), standards bodies (NCQA, URAC, NCSBN, ANA) and certification bodies. The registry is public on the evidence page.
• Before release, content has to pass schema checks, a content-safety gate, an accuracy lint, a forbidden-claims lint, a concept-canon check, source-registry checks, a case-solvability check and golden-fixture replay.
• It is not individually reviewed by a licensed clinician, and RemoteNurse says so openly in its editorial policy.

What RemoteNurse will not promise

• A pass: NCSBN sets the passing standard, and no prep tool can honestly promise a pass. RemoteNurse’s four readiness forms are fixed 100-question exercises. The 2026 RN exam is variable-length computerized adaptive testing.
• A job: hiring stays with the employer. RemoteNurse doesn’t replace clinical experience or place you with an employer.
• A license: the Foundations training certificate is evidence of recorded practice on synthetic cases. It isn’t a professional license, a government credential, a HIPAA compliance certification or a job-placement guarantee.
• Clinical decisions: RemoteNurse doesn’t approve or deny care and must never be used to guide a real patient, member or payer decision.

What it does with your data

• It collects your name and email, sign-in and session data, and billing status from the payment processor. It never stores full card numbers.
• It records your practice (cases attempted, actions, notes, Case Judge scores and verdicts), and profiles are private by default.
• AI features send only the text a request needs to the configured provider, currently DeepSeek. An automatic check looks for obvious identifiers, and Resume Check and Apply Tailor leave out your name, email, phone, home location and profile links.
• You can export your practice record at any time and delete your account yourself. An issued Verified Assessment credential’s verification record is kept and marked revoked, by design.
• Never enter real patient data, protected health information or real payer credentials. The privacy policy has the details.

Is there an app?

The iPhone companion, Medical VA Coach: RemoteNurse, is not on the App Store yet. When it lists, one login covers both. Everything described here works on remotenurse.org today.
