What RemoteNurse is, and what it is not.

Education and training use

RemoteNurse is a practice and readiness environment for review-nursing workflows. It exists to help you rehearse judgment and build practical evidence of your skills.

Who can use RemoteNurse

You must be 18 or older to apply for jobs, be listed for employers, or message employers on RemoteNurse.

No clinical decision support

RemoteNurse does not approve or deny care, does not make medical necessity decisions, and must never be used to guide a real patient, member, or payer decision. Every scenario is fictional and made for practice.

No real PHI

Do not upload or enter real patient records, protected health information, or real payer credentials. RemoteNurse is built for no-PHI fictional content, and entering real data is a violation of these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on the cycle shown at checkout.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription from your billing settings at any time.
• Prices and included features are described on the pricing section and in your account.

Automatic renewal

• RemoteNurse Plus is a subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly as you chose, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• Each renewal charges the card on file on the website, or your Apple ID for a subscription bought in the iPhone app. The charge comes on the same date each period.
• To cancel a website subscription, open Billing in your account and choose the billing portal. To cancel an App Store subscription, use your App Store subscription settings on your iPhone. Apple requires that you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• After you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. We do not charge you again.
• For a refund request, write to hello@remotenurse.org or use Support. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.

Foundation assessed training certificate

Learners on the free Medical VA Foundations path may complete the program and issue a provider-issued assessed training certificate when they meet the published completion criteria. Plus is optional AI help and is not required to earn or verify the award. The certificate has a public verification link third parties can check. It is training evidence from your recorded practice on fictional cases, not a professional license, government credential, HIPAA compliance certification, or job-placement guarantee. Content conformance uses automated release gates, not named clinician review.

Sharing your verified credential

A Verified Assessment credential is shared with an employer only when you choose to, by giving them its verification link, which you can revoke at any time. RemoteNurse does not make hiring decisions; those remain entirely with each employer.

Employers

• You may post jobs and contact candidates only to hire for real roles at your organization.
• Use what candidates share with you only to decide whether to hire them. Do not sell it, share it with others, or use it for marketing.
• Keep candidate details safe. Delete them when you no longer need them for this hire, and when a candidate asks you to.
• Follow the privacy laws that apply to you and to the candidate.
• Never ask a candidate to pay a fee, buy equipment, or move money. We remove posts and accounts that do.
• Tell us at hello@remotenurse.org if candidate details you received are lost or exposed.

Your responsibilities and acceptable use

• Keep your account secure and do not share your credentials.
• Use RemoteNurse only for lawful, professional practice.
• Do not attempt to extract hidden scoring logic, certified content, or another user’s private data.
• Do not misrepresent RemoteNurse results as a government credential, board certification, or professional license.
