Adaptive simulator - Free with a login
Is the RemoteNurse NCLEX-style practice exam free?
Yes. RemoteNurse publishes a free adaptive practice exam over an original item bank covering the eight client-needs categories. Difficulty moves with how you are answering, and every option carries a written rationale explaining why it is right or wrong. The items are original: they are not official NCLEX questions and the result is not a pass prediction.

What you are looking at
- Difficulty adapts to how you are answering
- A rationale on every option, not just the correct one
- Original items. Not official NCLEX questions
How you use it
- 01
Start a sitting
No setup and no card. The simulator opens on the first item.
- 02
Answer and adapt
Getting items right moves you into harder ones; missing them moves you back. That movement is the signal, more than the raw score.
- 03
Read every rationale
Each option explains why it is right or wrong. Reading the three you did not pick is where most of the learning is.
- 04
Use it as a study signal
The result points at the client-needs categories to revisit. It is not a prediction of whether you would pass.
What is included

Common questions
Is this the real NCLEX?
No. NCLEX is administered by NCSBN. This is original practice material written in a similar style. RemoteNurse is not affiliated with NCSBN, and NCLEX is their registered trademark.
Does it predict whether I will pass?
No. It reports which categories you are weakest in. No practice tool can predict a real sitting, and any that claims to is selling you something.
